At Mr. James Chicken, we believe great food starts with great ingredients and a passion for doing things properly. Our chicken is made with 100% free-range chicken, carefully prepared to create the perfect balance of crispy, juicy, tender and flavourful. Our wedge fries are cut fresh daily, and most importantly, our signature sauce is made fresh in our shop.
How it began
The story began in 1994, when Mr. Gabriel discovered his love for fast-food chicken and the simple pleasure of a crispy, juicy and satisfying meal. Years later, life brought him to Vietnam, where he married a wonderful Vietnamese woman and made Vietnam his home. As someone who had always loved Western-style food, Mr. Gabriel dreamed of creating something that would bring together the flavours and food culture he knew with the warmth and spirit of Vietnam. One day, he decided to create his own version of Western-style crispy chicken — chicken that was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and full of flavour.
That idea became Mr. James Chicken.
From one idea to a growing name
What started as a personal dream quickly became something much bigger. By the end of 2025, Mr. James Chicken had begun attracting growing attention in Vietnam, especially among Western customers and international visitors looking for quality, familiar-style crispy chicken with a fresh local touch. Our goal is simple: serve chicken we are proud of. Fresh ingredients. Daily preparation. Our own signature sauce. And a commitment to making every meal crispy, tender and delicious.
